Email Builder

Set backup fonts.
The email builder currently allows us to select from a wide range of Google Fonts, which is great for design flexibility. However, most email clients (especially Outlook, Apple Mail, and older webmail clients) do not support these web fonts. When an unsupported font is used, the text automatically falls back to the email client’s default font, which can distort layouts, spacing, and overall design consistency. This effectively forces users to stick with the handful of “safe” email fonts (Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman, etc.) if they want reliable rendering - otherwise, the message may look entirely different to recipients depending on their inbox or device. Impact: Loss of brand consistency across email clients. Poor visual presentation on many inboxes. Designers are discouraged from using the built-in font options since results are unpredictable. Solution: Add the ability to define backup fonts (fallback font stacks) in the email builder. For example: Primary Font: Poppins Backup Fonts: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif This way, if the primary web font isn’t supported by the recipient’s email client, the message will automatically use the specified fallback font - maintaining a consistent look and feel across platforms. Why It Matters: Backup font support is a small but essential feature for professional-grade email marketing tools. It ensures reliable visual rendering, better brand control, and higher design confidence for agencies and businesses using the email builder.
