Ye this is critical. We must have admin controls for chat, and ideally moderation/admin role types to make this work correctly. The wide open chat for all is a safety risk IMO.

In particular, lock Chat for new members. Unlock at a level specified by the Admin (or on manual override by the Admin). A workflow action so we can unlock the Chat after completing certain portion of the Courses would be great.

And for certain groups, deactivating it entirely would be beneficial.
Or the option for only Admin or Moderators (when we get that tier) to use Chat, not common Contributors/Members.
