Community Chat Notification

The Community Chat feature should notify the chat recipient by email when someone starts a new chat with them or responds to the chat. There also should be a setting where each community member can configure how and how frequently they want to receive notifications about community activity.

Is there any update on the progress of this feature? I am afraid our clients will switch back to skool because it lacks this feature. It's really important that the member can receive a notifications every time we chat them or vice versa.

Very much agree. It seems even not possible setting up an automation doing this. It looks like they have forgotten it! A like has greater priority than a PM inside HighLevel community.

That is seriously important. Seems that this is only available inside the App. That does not make any sense. Group members will not install an app just to receive a message when they chat

The chat feature inside communities is flawed. Nobody knows they have a new chat unless they log into the community group. In a community post, though, the tag of a person triggers a notification email. In chat, tagging someone to initiate a private chat with them does nothing. The work around sucks, which is to tag them in a post, to tell them they have a private chat, can we add tagging notifications to chat please

I have to check my notifications every single morning by memory and it's quite a daunting task, we have many members inside of our community and I keep in contact with them as I am their support rep, if I happen to have a busy day or don't check my chat right away, I am missing so many chat notifications because of this, pleaseeeee we need chat notifications!

It is NUTS that this isn't a thing! All the notifications are in place but not mentions of DMs. Please. Let's fix this!
