Save Answers To Community Membership Questions Into Custom Fields
K
Klemen Struc
I'd like to save answers to Community Membership Questions into Custom Fields so that we can trigger workflows and use this data inside workflows (e.g. conditional logic, customized messages, etc)
Example
Membership Question: What's your current revenue?
Option 1: $0 (I'm just starting)
Option 2: $1k to 5k
Option 3: $5k to $10k
Option 4: $10k or more
Trigger: Group Access Granted
Conditional Logic inside the workflow
If {membership_question_current_revenue} is "$5k to $10k" or "$10k or more" --> Create/Update Opportunity (for Appointment Setter), send emails, texts, etc
Else -->

Membership question answers become a trigger for automations

We would love to be able to use the membership question answers as triggers to be able to do things like auto add members to private channel etc.

Auto Approval of Group Members based on Membership Questions or Requested Access Workflow Trigger

It's not a great user experience currently to onboard someone into the membership. You are basically stuck between the options of using a form and then granting access and making the user go get an email login OR letting them signup directly and join but then waiting for an admin to approve them.
There should be an option to automate this so that a seamless user experience can be created. Could also work to trigger a magic link for the user out of the form to create sign in with a single click.

Save Members Approval Questions

Currently we have the ability to create questions for approval before allowing a new member into a group. However, when viewing the answers there is currently no way to save those answers to the contact record without retyping them. You can't even copy/paste because the answer field is greyed out. There also isn't a way to see the answers to the questions after you have approved the user.
I would love the ability to save the membership questions to the contact record so that I can review them later.

Actually, I think the technically correct term is filter. The trigger should be member questions submitted/updated. The filter is which question and what answer.

This is why we need to save membership answers and use them as filters for workflow triggers. We are asking the questions to get certain types of responses. We should be able to action on those responses. Nilasish Pal Prasoon Dadhich We don't use HighLevel because it looks pretty; we use it for the automations. Nice graphics and a smooth UI are bonuses.

This request is one tiny piece of being able to manage communities and courses as marketing funnels.

Client Club, Kollab, branded domain. All the same.
We need the questions to be mandatory and we need to save the answers so we can use them for audience segmentation/offer.

Hide the Member list, Chat, and Invite Members buttons.
I am using CSS in Communities to hide functions that should be an option for the group admin to turn on or off depending on the purpose and culture of the community group.
We need a toggle in Settings where the group admin can turn off or on those features - Invite Members button, Chat, and Members.

Keith Besherse hi Keith
This was recently released. Thankyou

Shivani Gera, Well, the questions still aren't mandatory.
But, after some searching I found where the member questions are stored. Thank you!
Next request: can we filter in the CRM to tag the contact based on the answer?

Shivani Gera, I was able to find the answers!
Still, we have the appearance without the function.
What I think we want is to be able to filter If/else statements in a workflow based on the answers. If they say they need training we should send the price for that program, if they say they need an appointment we should send calendar link, if they say they don't want what we offer we should ban them via workflow without need for human interaction.
Please see the video clip I included with /tickets/3288756.
Thank you.
