We are having some issues with clients double-booking themselves. I have 2 ideas: 1. A notification (on our end) if a client with the same phone or email address has booked but already has a call on the calendar // 2. The possibility of an automation if a client already has a scheduled call to send them a SMS to say "looks like you already have a call scheduled with our team, do you need to reschedule?"

Please check this one. Issue with regards to Double purchases. This is a critical issue that may cause stripe shutdowns due to chargebacks and disuptes.

These changes would go a long way in reducing confusion, especially for return clients or people re-engaging too close to their already scheduled time.
We recently had a situation where our AI bot successfully booked a time with a lead, but when she messaged us again shortly before the meeting, the AI Employee didn’t recognize her upcoming appointment and tried to schedule/reschedule her - causing confusion and unnecessary back-and-forth.
We’d love to see this request expanded to include calendar recognition inside AI conversations, so bots can:
Reference an upcoming booking
Skip the scheduling flow if one exists
Offer rescheduling only if the user requests it

You are right. The go high level team should just add a function in the calendar where you can toggle on: Prevent double booking.
And that the person is only able to book on this calendar again after their current appointment date is in the past.

I would like to make this as a Prio. Double bookings happen from the same calendar and easily reproducible. Haitham Rubaidi
In our case we are running Webinars weekly and people from the Webinar booking Sales Calls in our Gohighlevel calendars.
We post the Book a call action in the Webinar and 10-20 people at the same time go to the Calendar to book a call.
Then what happen is if two or more people select the same date/time or overlapping time and hit schedule more less at the same time both meeting is confirmed and goes into the calendar as double booked slots.

to solve this right now i suggest adding 2 buttons (custom values to text works) to the email
1 for cancelations {{appointment.cancellation_link}}
1 for reschedule {{appointment.reschedule_link}}

I understand that we are displaying two buttons for appointment management - one for cancellation and the other for rescheduling. However, in a different scenario, if the user needs to contact the same date & time for a future event, what options do we have available for them to prevent double booking?
