IVR needs to ring in-app users instead of forwarding to an outside number.

Right now there's no way to transfer a caller from the IVR menu to an LC phone number in the web or mobile app. You can only forward to an outside number meaning that a business has to have a separate phone system. If we could forward directly to LC Phone it would be a big step towards making GHL a replacement for something like RingCentral and increase the value proposition.

There is a work around for this if you assign the number to a user and then in the IVR workflow choose to forward to a custom number and manually enter the users inbound number that is assigned to them.

Anthony Mitchell That still caused a loop. This is actually fixed now though. they just haven't marked it as completed yet.

YES - We can only direct connect to outside phone numbers not LC virtual numbers. I hope they upgrade this feature soon.

Agreed. Will be a massive game changer. We are currently having to use a Google Voice number assigned to each user. This is far from ideal and there are many limitations to this.

Yeah, this would open up for the ability to patch the call to a second party if the first person reached was not the ideal person to field the call
Also it's just good for the brand image to keep the calls inside our system. Gives a much more powerful impression I think.
