YESS! also vica versa. eg were a business based in portugal which is part of the EU. all businesses or individuals within EU that dont have a VAT number will need to be charged VAT by us. All EU based business that have a VAT number dont due to the "reverse charge' rule we have here. all individuals and companies outside of the EU dont have to be charged VAT (eg UK, US, Indonesia,...)
