Add support for VAT on order forms and subscriptions

I am surprised that GHL has not come further with VAT. After all, I have both read and heard that GHL should be at the forefront and perhaps the best choice for us and also for our clients. However, the problem seems to be the same as with Click Funnels and some other platforms that they forgot or did not prioritize Europe.
The thing is, our goal is to help 100,000 people build their business online as a vehicle to create and live their dream life, and we won't be able to work with systems and platforms that lack support for VAT.
I see it as difficult, and almost impossible for us and all our customers to move to GHL if we cannot get this functionality.

Add VAT numbers and amount on invoices

Admin P. Muehlematter
In Europe it is obligatory to show both VAT number on the invoices. The number of the company that issue the invoice and the number of the client that will pay the invoice. It would be easy to create a custom field for the client and enter his VAT number but we can not use custom fields for the client address on the invoice.
Also the VAT amount must be visible on the invoice, for example we can not write VAT included... it must show the exact amount of the VAT.
An invoice is not valid without both VAT Numbers and the amount paid for the VAT.
Meaning we have to manually send invoices for tax purpose in order to be legal.
A solution for that would be highly apriciated.
A quick walk around, like be able to use custom field on the clients (payee) address would already help ya lot till you find a proper full solution.

Shaun Clark I am making an attempt here to get your attention to this again. After all, you gave me the opportunity to contact Prashant in January about this, and it still hasn't been resolved properly yet. Yes, I have spoken to Prashant and he has received the information Stripe gave me so that you can send the correct info in your integration to Stripe. But the problem remains and does not seem to be a priority for you.
Can you help me prioritize this with your developers so this is resolved once and for all? 🙏 It's not just me who wants VAT to work for us in Europe.
for your info.
So it is your integration / API that does not send correct info to stripe when an order is completed on a subaccount.
I have spoken to Stripe today for two hours to go through all my settings and transactions in stripe, they say that this error is on your side and that it is easy to correct on your side. Let me know if you need more info, I have all the info in an email from stripe.

Shaun Clark Thanks. I just get this from Stripe. Hope this can help.
-->Since your test payments were created via your website which is connected to HighLevel and considering that the application used is LeadConnector, kindly reach out to them to check on the payment integration and ensure that the parameters are properly set up for automatic tax calculation.
🔥 For them to calculate tax, they'd need to add as little as one line of code to their existing Stripe Billing or Checkout integration. For each API transaction, they'd need to pass the automatic_tax[enabled] parameter. They can refer to the document on this link to ensure they're properly guided in enabling the automatic calculation on their integration:
On the Dashboard, this will also be enabled on the Tax configuration page: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/tax

Literally can't use the invoice tool because it's not compliant for Europe/Bulgaria

just adding my vote to this. Stripe automatically calculates the VAT - you just need to display it through the API like Circle do.

Nice App

Just make it easy for us european users to make the right VAT (DK 25%) and make it easy to applie it to products in funnels (included in the price, but still on the receipt / bill )
We want to move all our clients from Clickfunnels to GHL but the VAT and integration to Shopify i off.

We really appreciate that VAT is working properly through manual invoices and this saves time. And now we just need one additional step to make VAT function in funnels so VAT information is passed via the API to Stripe, so that no manual intervention is required to complete VAT data to our accounting systems - like QuickBooks.
