We like to be able to hide specific custom fields folders in the contacts screen based on some critaria.
I'd like to combine several similar ideas in one idea.

This is important for us! We have different contact types that need their own customised layout, with irrelevant forms and fields hidden. Customisation based on user isn't a solution, so this is sorely needed.

We really should be able to decide what fields show up on the contact record. It gets completely unruly when you need a lot of fields for data. There's no reason to put everything on the front end contact record.

thanks for consolidating these ideas - i notice this is not getting as much traction because of the several inquiries.

Being able to customize fields/folders based off contact type is very important feature for us right now - hoping this can be updated ASAP.
