Hideable Custom Fields/Custom Field Folders Instead of "Hide Empty Fields"

I love the hide empty fields option. But it would be way better for agencies to be able to hide custom fields and custom field folders from the contact screen AND the opportunity screen.
I'm thinking of people who use custom values for automation and don't want clients to mess with or see them, information that doesn't matter and is simply meant to be "Easy yeses" on forms, those with multiple pipelines that require different information on the opportunity card in each pipeline, and those who have a ton of folders that are cluttering up the contacts screen.
This would also be helpful in archiving old custom fields and cleaning up the contact screen by putting them into a folder and then hiding the folder so we don't see it in the contact screen.

I would like to hide specific custom fields from a specific user; it doesn't matter the user level. I would like to have just users, but different levels of access, considering they are just users. It is so important to have the option to show specific custom fields based on a specific user.

Add the ability to lock and permissions to custom fields to be able to edit them, same with tags

Would be nice if field folders & fields could also be shown or hidden dependent on something such as contact type.

Core Platform This is huge, so many custom fields with custom values being used that a lot of people DO NOT need to see in the contact side. Would be best to make these folders hidden by the Agency Admin or Account Admin. A lot of time Users do not need to see these as they work for funnels, automations, emails etc.

I would love the feature of being able to hide custom fields or even the folders of custom fields from certain users. This would be great for when we are leveraging sales reps and only want them to access basic info but want to hide further detailed info we gather from clients.

Another issue is when templates are used they create custom fields and if that template is not used you need to go over and delete a bunch of custom fields. You should be able to define what you want to see in a contact record. I use archive folders but still this is reflected in the contact record.

Yea totally wish this was solved in GHL, having absolute control over the default custom fields. This hinders really setting this up for B2B use like can be done with Pipedrive CRM very easily.

Yes...I was about to post this. I have a large Non-Profit client that works with people of all ages. They have folders for up to 7 children for parents who sign up their kids for a camp but they also run language programs for refugees and adult literacy programs. The adult literacy staff don't need to see folders for 7 kids when they look at a contact. Please let us hide folders with no data or give us such granular permissions that folders can be hidden from certain users view. The contact window gets so messy!
