Hideable Custom Fields/Custom Field Folders Instead of "Hide Empty Fields"

I love the hide empty fields option. But it would be way better for agencies to be able to hide custom fields and custom field folders from the contact screen AND the opportunity screen.
I'm thinking of people who use custom values for automation and don't want clients to mess with or see them, information that doesn't matter and is simply meant to be "Easy yeses" on forms, those with multiple pipelines that require different information on the opportunity card in each pipeline, and those who have a ton of folders that are cluttering up the contacts screen.
This would also be helpful in archiving old custom fields and cleaning up the contact screen by putting them into a folder and then hiding the folder so we don't see it in the contact screen.

Currently, the way GHL is setup the contact fields can be modified across the board by nearly any user that has access to contacts. For a large company like ours we love GHL but this seems to be something that could be easily rectified.
It would be helpful if we had the ability to choose on a user level if they have the ability to make changes to contact fields. Maybe by creating a "view only" option under roles and permissions. To keep contact data secured such as important field data that the business owner relies on to be accurate seems impossible when a user can make changes at will if they have access to the contact area.
Alternatively this can be done the same way as workflows, where we have the ability to lock workflow folders depending on user level.
Im damn near begging you guys to make this change as it would let my company go full throttle in to utilizing your platform.
Any upvotes are extremely appreciated.

It would be extremely beneficial to allow read/write permission options per field.
I may not want Sales Users to be able to edit a certain field on the Contact or Opportunity.
Once a Contact is created, I may not want to allow someone to update certain info on that Contact simply by submitting an externally available form with that same email address.
I may not want certain API integrations, or other syncing options, to be able to update all fields during a sync.
I may not want certain CSV uploads to overwrite certain fields if there's already a value present.

Need the Ability to Remove certain Contact Fields or at least RESTRICT certain Contact Fields or Folders from specific Users. This prevents errors with changing key information on the contact or unwanted triggering of workflows

Easiest way would be on the FOLDER directly by toggling a dropdown (multiple) of each user you want within the custom fields settings page.

I was able to create this within ai studio. this works in different ways sich as unfilled info wont show and if you have multiple forms only the specific form fileds will show. also when adding a contact manual7 you cam choose a specific form and fill it out lets say By Office Personnel.
Rolls based should already be a ghl native feature under settings-user rolls & permissions for employees. on my end i creatws mkre custom user roles and settings for the end user such as the customer within a customer user portal

Yeah I thought customization of fields while you're in a contact was already available. I feel like this is a basic thing that high level needs to have. I want each staff member to have specific fields that I want them to view. There are some fields that are irrelevant for certain staff members. This should be an easy fix please do. Thank you

I found a solution to this. Go to settings > objects > contacts > customize contact detail view then click add new. From there you can customize the panels and add/remove unnecessary custom field folders. You can then assign specific agents to that view. So you can create view for different roles in your team. It would be greatly helpful if GHL is emailing these updates instead of just putting it in the in-app update notif.
