Hi, there is an issue with WhatsApp where it cannot send media through the headers on the template. Even if I create the template through Facebook, this causes WhatsApp to crash when attempting to send a message template without an image.

Yes if you do this than there is no more need for third party WhatsApp Solutions like WAGHL

This is a planned feature, once this is live users will be able to create WhatsApp templates that contain images, videos, documents and location within HighLevel. This will be released by the third week of April
