This is a must-do. Let's give contacts the same treatment as opportunities, because we can do this there. Bonus point for being able to set default fields/order in the All Contacts view and not having to create a smart list just to add a couple of columns. The new features and releases are new and shiny and great and all, but this has to be addressed soon. Table stakes.
