"Shade" User Availability on the calendar.

So right now when you look at the calendar you don't know between which hours is particular user available. You can only see booked slots.
Add "shade color" to show period of time in the day when user is available and then on top of that show booked slots.
The color of the shade can be the calendar color, just lighter.

When the user is not available Grey/stripe out the hours on user calendar view so it is easily visible at a glance. Also split each hour up into 15 min segments so users can easily see the time between each appointment without having to look at the appointment info. Take Fresha for an example - image attached.
