Set Calendar Business Days
E

To give more control over how many days out people can book, be able to identify "days" as business days instead of calendar days.
Example: If I want to limit my calendar to only 2 days out (to optimize appointments and minimize no-shows), but my availability is Monday through Friday, people go to book on Friday won't see any days available beyond Friday (because the other 2 days are Saturday and Sunday - of which I'm not available). So, to get around this, we have to set the availability to 5 days. That means, if someone goes to book on Monday, they'll be able to book all the way until Friday - which is too far out and increases no-shows.

Swadha Bhoj (saw you helping in other calendar feature areas perhaps you can assist having this urgent issue sorted?)
This has been under review for years with multiple duplicate requests. It is a widespread issue affecting many businesses. It appears the issue may have been misunderstood previously, so I am requesting a full review.
Request
Businesses need the ability to set the number of bookable days in advance using either business days or available days with bookable slots.
Current setting is Calendar - Settings - Booking Rules - Date Range. This only sets how far into the future bookings can be made from todays date.
The problem
Date Range counts calendar days, not working days or available days. Most businesses do not operate on weekends. Because weekends are still counted, the system does not consistently show the correct number of bookable days.
Examples
If the goal is to always show 3 bookable days:
On Monday you see Tues, Wed, Thurs - correct.
On Thursday you only see Friday, because Saturday and Sunday are counted even though they are non working days.
Correct behaviour needs to show Friday, Monday, Tuesday.
This forces businesses to manually adjust Date Range on Thursdays, Fridays, weekends, public holidays, or when days book out. This creates ongoing manual work across all accounts.
Proposed solutions
Option 1 - Preferred
Add a simple checkbox next to Date Range called Count bookable days only. The system would count only days that have at least one available slot until the defined number is reached. This solves the issue in most scenarios without added complexity.
Option 2
Introduce a Business Days setting allowing definition of business days and bookings X business days in advance. If this option is chosen, Option 1 should also exist as both serve slightly different purposes.

Really a simple checkbox to check where it says 'Count days only that have bookable slots' allowing to set number of days based on that would be sufficient here (eg: check box - then set 3 days- box will be something like "only count days when there is bookable slots") would solve 90% of cases here rather than a whole business days feature (which would be preferable but i'd take anything at this point)

Please implement this simple fix -- I have to have a team member work on the weekends to adjust our calendar availability during that time to account for the lack of this feature!

+1, change the drop-down here to say calendar days or business days. Calendly does this perfectly.

This is an absolute must have and very easy to change. Big effect, little effort to make this change.

This is very much needed! The calendar number of days takes into consideration weekends but we do not work weekends, so unfortunately when i set 3 days and it's a friday the system will only let people book on friday because it counts saturday and sunday...rather than allowing the following monday and tuesday.

This would be nice to have!

Yes i'm shocked this isn't a feature shoudl match availability or at least have a "weekdays" option like calendly it's killer on thursdays/fridays if you do 48 or 72 hour availability
