Improve translation + option custom translation
L

We are offering GHL in SaaS-mode to our German clients. The translation is very bad. We need to be able to customize the translation.
We suggest offering your SaaS-clients the option to edit a data-base. The data-base should include all text-fields and we could edit the translation, then upload the correct translation.
Especially Germans are very picky and in the end, it is bad reputation for us.
For example, the word "back" is translated in a way, that it means the body-part. However, the translation in German is very different and cannot be translated in that way. Instrad of "Zum Rücken" it needs to be "Zurück".
We hope to receive a solution for this soon. Thanks.

Word for word translate system

Add a system where we can manually replace the default wording in GoHighLevel.
This could even be the foundation for a automatic translation system.
Will also allow us to reformulate word in any language.
Shopify has this feature that makes it easy to replace the default words.
Add saves, exports and imports. And changeable for sub accounts.

It would be very useful to have an entire translation feature ASAP so that the whole plateform is translated in order to sell it in other big markets such as French or Spanish. It will not only help us to reach our goal but you to grow as well by having other markets involved.

Because to sell it as Saas to other local business it is important to be translated in their language.

I created a JavaScript script to dynamically “switch” some texts. It’s not perfect since there’s a slight delay before it runs, but I had way too many really bad French translations, so this was a must-have to ship something to my clients.
If it can help anyone, here’s my repo: https://github.com/jpvaillancourt/text-fixer
Just paste the script in your Custom JS field and set up your own translations.
Hope this helps in the meantime, but yeah, GHL should really do something about this ASAP.

Over 2 years and still no solution! Even with the new "internationalization setting" in the business profile, the calendar widget doesn't reflect the selected language. When set to "Dutch", it still shows "Select Date & Time" and "60 Mins." Please provide proper customization or correct translations—without this, it’s not usable in Europe!

Many agencies and businesses around the world are relying on GHL for their marketing, sales, and customer service operations.
We know the platform is evolving and delivering amazing new features, but we’re asking you to hear us out:
We need a panel that allows us to add our own word-for-word translations.
That’s the only way we can truly succeed.

“Hi,
I’ve noticed an important issue with your recent update of the French Canadian menu translations—some translations are incorrect and causing confusion:
“Contacts” is now translated as “Amis”, which means “Friends”.
“Opportunity” has been translated to “Pistes”, which generally means “Tracks” or “Routes”.
These translations are incorrect in the business context. I’d strongly suggest reverting these changes or updating them as soon as possible to avoid confusion among French Canadian users.
Thank you for addressing this promptly!”
