SaaS Mode V2

Here are a few ideas for upgrades to the current SaaS mode:1. More than 3 SaaS plans (preferably unlimited).2. Have a way for SaaS users to change their plan or cancel in their billing settings and let us make our own description of what is included in each plan to show here in billing.2a. Give us the ability to control what SaaS plans they can switch to in the billing settings.2b. Let us create a required form for SaaS users to submit if they are trying to cancel that includes the ability to downgrade to a cheaper plan. 2c. Agencies should be able to choose if users have the ability to change plans or cancel in settings, it should not be a required feature.3. Let us "impersonate" any SaaS user and see the app as they see it.4. Give us the ability to turn off some features completely so that no SaaS plan has them.5. Let us create our own banner popups that show for SaaS users.6. Give us the ability to disable certain settings in the settings menu for SaaS plans if we don't need our users to be able to access them. Also, I'd love to be able to add custom menu items to the settings menu, not just the main menu.7. There needs to be a way to fully disable features that SaaS accounts lose access to. For example, if a user cancels their subscription or downgrades to a plan that doesn't have workflows, they will not be able to view workflows anymore but the workflows will still actually work. This is not okay.8. We need some sort of system for managing and sorting our sub accounts. Filtering by SaaS plan would be a good start. Also, would love the ability to be able to select multiple SaaS accounts and bulk edit them (like adding or removing feature permissions).

It would also be pretty nice if the price post-coupon (when giving customers coupons to use for our SaaS products) was displayed in customer accounts.
I've lost business because customers were confused by seeing the full price of my SaaS plan in their billing area despite having received and used a coupon.
We can't expect customers to simply "trust us" when the system shows them an upcoming payment that doesn't match what they expect!

Its absolutely mental re point 7 - pointless system when that is the case.

I would love to see meta data option added to SaaS for bookkeeping purposes. I need to be able to match via meta data for rebilling because there are no unique terms or keys in rebilling to categorize off of.

The request was made almost 3 years ago. Is there already an update on this or have certain things already been implemented?

David Bak: 1, 2(a), 2(c), 3 and 4 have already been implemented.

Please also allow us to choose to transact our client to get immediately billed upon their upgrade within the billing portal inside their sub location.

PLEASE Include the very basic ability to RECATEGORIZE plans after they've been created, and RENAME categories. This is so basic, and so important. Right now, if i want to add a new plan but the configuration doesn't fit into the cost hierarchy (if i don't want to include all the features of the next lower priced plan in that category) then i am forced to create new categories; and since i can't reorganize, i have to create new duplicate plans to put into new categories, creating a bloated mess.

We also need the ability to let the customer choose if they want to have privacy features enabled to prevent us from accessing certain parts of the sub account. I work directly with high ticket customers, but I have a lot of low ticket that I don't care about, and I don't want to see or know what they are doing unless they increase what they are paying me.

We should also be able to see the last login.. We get new accounts and we aren't sure if they are getting used or not... This should be on the dashboard. It should also give us creation date, which SKU they are subscribed to, what they pay. As well as when the last blueprint was deployed to the account.

In response to "7. There needs to be a way to fully disable features that SaaS accounts lose access to."
I would also add that SaaS accounts should have the user permissions visibility tied to the current SaaS plan enrollment. If there is a plan that does not offer something like Social Planner, then when the client admin is adding users, Social Planner should not show in the list of options to turn on and off...

David Hall: I think what you're asking for already exits.
