Currently, if we were to compare UK to USA SMS costs per 1,000 on Twilio:
UK: $56 per 1,000
US: $10 - $13 per 1,000
This is a ridiculous position to be in for the UK, when factoring high volume texting, especially in conjunction with AI.
I'm aware there are some well intentioned smaller companies who have come from GHL to help with this, but those solutions require additional handsets, which totally defeat the purpose of automation at scale.
We need cheap SMS solutions for countries outside the US/Canada. At the moment, it's literally 4x to 5x more expensive.

The LC Phone team is currently working on enabling multi-vendor integration as part of the existing product offerings. Addressing pricing and inventory challenges is a key objective, and we aim to do so by onboarding additional vendors into the ecosystem.

The expected timeline for this initiative is around Q3 2026. We will keep the group informed and share further updates as we go live.

Sahib Kapoor Can you ensure you have a full phone and messaging api as part of this update? For one the Twilio integration should be apples to apples with LC Phone. It's insane that we do not have messaging analytics, sms restrictions, IVR in workflows, voice intelligence, transcription, etc that we can choose to deploy with Twilio integration.

For ONE German mobile number, we now have to pay $30/month!! Last month they've increased the price from an already expensive $15/month without any notice whatsoever. Please GHL, at least offer an alternative asap

It would be nice to have an alternative to Twilio. Send a message in Belgium costs 0.10$, which is very expensive! Other country like France, it's 0.07 cent, still expensive. If we could integrate another service provider, it would save us a lot of money...

I have been trying for 2 years to get them to add more alternatives than twililo. In sweden (and some other countries) we cant purchase a phone capable number (only sms). Which mean we cant use Voice AI or any of the phone related ghl products. Kinda sucks. But still hoping the right person will se this. And yes I have voted on ideas board more than once 🙏🏻
