Allow people to unsubscribe to Marketing emails only (not general communications).

Customers of ours dont' want to receive marketing emails, but they do want to receive emails about our member events etc. We need a way to allow them to opt out of certain email messages without unsubscribing entirely. Same for people unsubscribing from communities emails rather than all messaging.

In the meantime you can do this with an opt out page, Forms, Custome Fields, and automations.

This is offered with many other email providers. It would help us keep some subscribers and help the recipients tailor their experience.

This is critical! Ontraport allows you to designate with a checkbox if the email is a transactional email (sends even if they have opted out of your newsletter/marketing emails) or a marketing email (which only sends if they are opted in).
Many people want emails related to the products and services they've purchased but not necessarily anything else. Hope this is planned!
