Ability to block spam messages

We get a lot of spam messages every day and it's starting to get annoying. They are adding to the clutter. Unfortunately, we cannot block them or mark them as spam. I hope you have this feature.

We need this so badly - living in essentially a Spam folder is a NIGHTMARE. Please add this feature

I created a workflow. When a contact is tagged as spam it marks the conversations as read, archives the conversations, and then sets the contact to DND.

Mike Humphrey Agreed, archive is the current solution. However, setting contact to DND doesn't prevent future messages; in workflows you can only set outbound DND, not inbound DND.

Mike Humphrey A tip for you: Merge Spammer contacts into a single contact. It helps keep the inbox and contacts list more clean. It's a manual step, but depending on the volume it's probably worth it for your clients to do this for them (or show them how to).

At the workflow town hall on 04 Feb 2025, there was some discussion about how the system would be able to automatically detect a spammer. Here is an example of the kind of information could be correlated to give a fair approximation.
System cannot identify the caller ID. Recorded voice drop talks over the greeting message. The message includes a number to call back which is different than the number used for the call. The message says, if you don't want to be listed on Google voice...
Would we run the risk of losing real leads due to false positives? Almost certainly.
The solution I would like to see...auto DND but send a notification to the account admin with a list of the criteria used to make the automatic DND decision.

Does the DND incoming selection not work in your situation?
I wish that DND contacts were hidden from the default all contacts view
