Include feature to fallback to an alternate variable input on e-mails when data isn't available. For example, in an e-mail where you want to put Hi (name), as the greeting, but not all contacts in high level have a name, you can include a fallback i.e., Hi (name,fallback=Friend),

Hey Everyone,
We have released this for emails at instance level! Now defaults would work in bulk action, email action and also email campaigns/ templates. Please check the help document linked below for more details.
You can also use a syntax - {{default contact.firstname "there"}} in your emails.

Brad Shaw, it is often like this with HighLevel. There is always capacity to release features which attract new subscribers. There is less effort available to fix the minor gaps and inconsistencies that are left in the wake during the rush to launch new features. But, that is why the town halls are so important. I'd love to simply have this:
{{contact.first_name || "there"}}
Instead, I need to create an entire workflow just to place a fallback value. Now a lot of my contacts are called 'there'.
Or I have to add an if node and create multiple email templates.
This would be amazing to have.
