Can we add DOB and Phone as Duplicate field options?
Use case: Medical Pracitoner Industry like Physio, Chiro and Dental
- they have people who brings their childred on elderly parents and want to keep their phone number and email in it for any communication. This means I would need to allow duplicate contacts and that adds lot of issues.
- can we not allow to create Phone and DOB with the same information. This way there should be no duplicate if possible?

Agreed. The ability to use custom fields here would also be great- or choose a condition based on more than two fields. Medical practices with husband/ wife sharing an email and landline phone is also a use case for this. Happens a lot with geriatric specialties.

The ability to create a deduplication based on a custom field is very much needed!

I’m experiencing the same issue with my indoor playground client. When parents or guardians arrive with multiple children, I need to record each child’s name, but the phone number and email always belong to the parent. To manage this, I had to adjust the duplicate reference settings so the system could capture details for 2–3 children under the same parent contact (using the same phone and email for each child).
Currently, I have to manually merge duplicate records every week, which is quite frustrating and has been one of the most challenging parts of implementing GHL.
GHL might not be the ideal solution for businesses that need to manage multiple records under the same parent contact.
