Im currently using a different community that allows for DM to users. As a coach, this allows a more personal experience with my client. Right now I have to talk to me through this channel so 1. It keeps them engaged in the community 2. Provides an audit trail of all our conversations so valuable feedback is not lost.

Watching YouTube vid comparing Skool to GHL community and THIS was the one major feature that made them recommend Skool over GHL.
Looking forward to this feature as I’d prefer to keep everything inside GHL vs joining the Skool bandwagon!

Shaun Clark can we have this where we can turn 1-1 messaging off completely if we do not want to allow it, setting where its only allowed from user to admin and back and forth, then a setting to allow all 1-1 messages. This way we can have actual control over this. Im building a community where I only want it to be for admin to user and back and forth. Not user to user. I also would like the option to not have the user socials be allowed to show, but there is no setting for this. Only on the user side which admin cant turn off.

Jay Martin love this. Would be so helpful to turn on DMs for certain contacts like private clients
Or give community members the ability to DM each other and the support profile but perhaps not you as the admin (only reserved for private clients)

Shaun Clark could you please provide an ETA for this essential feature? We've been waiting for this for several months. As you know, communication is the lifeline of every community. Not being able to communicate to participants and members among themselves is a massive limitation. Thank you very much for your efforts and consideration.
