Overview
We are introducing the ability for agencies to configure custom messaging limits based on either the number of messages or the number of segments sent.
This feature gives more configurability between how messaging limits are set (based on SMS) and how charges are calculated (based on segments), helping clients avoid unexpected costs and better manage their usage and update limits for their clients without any involvement from support.
Effective immediately, this feature will be available for all sub-accounts using the Native Phone System.

: Agencies can now choose to set custom daily/monthly messaging limits on either the number of messages or segment basis.

Instant Updates
:
In case a sub-account hits their sending limit, all the users(agency/sub-account) would see a banner on the Phone Numbers page informing that the account has reached their messaging limit.

An email would also be sent to the configured emails when a sub-account has reached the limit.

Access Control:
Only agency owners and admins can modify this setting subject to the agency having spent at least 3 months and is not in a trial period.
Visibility:
The setting is available under the Messaging Limit section of Advanced Settings of the Phone Numbers tab.
Note
- If a sub-account hit their messaging limit all the messages will fail for the rest of the day until and unless the limit is increased.
