Wait steps + workflow goals are two of my favorite workflow actions, but they're both quite limited. As such, we have to string together multiple workflows and add an action that removes the contact from the previous workflow when, in some cases, a better solution would be to utilize "wait steps" that hold a contact within the current workflow until the desired action is taken.
Here's what I would like to see added as wait step options:
  • Document status updated (with the ability to specify a document template and the status)
  • Form is submitted (with the ability to specify which form(s))
  • Appointment is booked (with the ability to specify which calendar(s) the appointment is booked on)
  • Payment is submitted
  • Invoice is paid
  • Proposal accepted/rejected
  • Task is completed
Quick note: The filters for the wait steps should allow us to multi-select, i.e. form is --> any of -> select multiple forms
All of these should also be added as workflow goals!
