"Won" date on actual close date for reporting instead of date created

With SaaS mode becoming a bigger part of high level, it would be helpful to have the date that populates in reporting to be based off of the date won. I don't know of many businesses that count a deal/income on the date it was created. A majority mark a sale and income on the actual day it closes.

yes please, I need this for past clients so when we do follow up we actually have the correct date of sale and for automatization too

This is crucial along with being able to change the won date to reflect the date they paid if they pay outside of GHL.

Definitely voting for this one.
All of the Dashboard reports should be updated to reflect new "Opportunity Won/Closed Date" fields rather than "Opportunity Created Date".

Hi, I think this feature is crucial. Right now we depend on other platforms besides HL to report the "actual" sales of the month. Please implement this ASAP.

Both the Agent Reporting and the Pipeline's Funnel on the Dashboard consider the "Create Date" of the opportunity. This precludes users from running accurate sales reports.
Businesses cannot track the opportunities based on when they were "closed" (won, lost, or abandoned) but only on when they were created. This is confusing to say the least.
An opportunity won in March 2023 but created a few months ago (e.g. in December 2022) will not show on the Funnel if you filter for "This Year", let alone "This Month". Clients have been complaining about this, and rightly so.
Please implement a fix soon!!!

Clients want to know the date a contact was marked sold. This information is vital to understand turnaround for sales (open date to close date) and for auditing sales. Currently, we cannot audit sales based on dates sold. This will lead clients to migrate to other platforms that include dates sold, as well as being able to edit sold dates.

This would be huge for reporting sales and ROI for clients

Also, such a date field on the Opp should apply to ANY of the "Close" Statuses (and not just whether it was Won): Lost, Abandoned, or Won. This makes such a field far more useful, and other numbers can be determined with a simple filtered by the actual Status of the closed Opp.
Jeremy Williams - I recommend you edit the title of this to "Close Date" :)
Any CRM I've worked on has a close date for Opps!

AS LONG AS THERE'S THE ABILITY TO EDIT THE CLOSE/WON DATE!
