Please Remove unnesscary restrictions on OUTBOUND Voice AI Calling. Other companies are eating away at GHL's market share because of it's hyper-restrictiveness. NOBODY will use this

Calls are made at a rate of one call per minute per location (Makes sense)
Each location can make up to 100 calls per day (Doesn't make sense, especially if you are a call centre that has to make 1000's of calls per day)
Each phone number can be called only once per day; any additional call is scheduled for the next day. (Doesn't make sense, it's not even industry standard, we double or triple dial because sometimes people don't have their phone on them or it's at a distance)
Each phone number can be called a maximum of 4 times in 2 weeks; calls exceeding this limit will fail (Makes sense, but it has to be more than once in that day)
Calls are scheduled only between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM as per the contact's phone number timezone (Doesn't make sense because sometimes it is better to call people, depending on industry: Early in the morning, around 5-6 AM, because that's their schedule, or later at night, like before 9 PM)
Calls can only be made to contacts who have opted in to receive AI calls, and who have not enabled DND (Makes sense for INDIVIDUALS, but not Businesses...Businesses can be called as many times as they can, AI is not a restriction for businesses)
Calls can only be made to United States numbers (Is SOOO restrictive, What about the rest of your half-a-Million customers around the world??????)

Enable Global Voice AI Outbound Calling Without Opt-In Restrictions

Hello GHL Team,
I would like to request a major improvement to the Voice AI outbound calling functionality in GoHighLevel.
Currently, Voice AI outbound calls can only be made to leads who have explicitly opted in. This restriction makes it difficult to use Voice AI agents for many legitimate outbound use cases such as cold outreach, sales prospecting, lead qualification, appointment setting, and market research.
Other Voice AI platforms such as Retell and Vapi allow developers to initiate outbound AI calls without requiring prior opt-in, while still leaving compliance responsibility to the user depending on their local regulations.
Requested Improvements
Remove the mandatory opt-in restriction for Voice AI outbound calls
Allow users to initiate outbound calls to any phone number.
Compliance with local laws (TCPA, GDPR, etc.) should remain the responsibility of the account owner.
Enable global outbound calling
Allow Voice AI agents to call phone numbers in any country.
Support international dialing for all regions.
Allow usage of phone numbers from multiple countries
Users should be able to purchase or connect phone numbers from different countries.
These numbers should be usable for Voice AI outbound calling.
Parity with modern Voice AI platforms
Provide outbound Voice AI flexibility similar to Retell and Vapi.
Enable scalable AI sales agents, support agents, and outreach agents.
Advanced outbound campaign controls
Bulk dialing lists
AI conversation goals (qualification, booking, surveys)
Call rate limits and compliance settings
Why This Is Important
This feature would unlock many powerful use cases for agencies and businesses using GoHighLevel, including:
AI cold calling
Lead reactivation campaigns
AI appointment setters
Global AI sales teams
Automated prospect outreach
Currently, users must rely on external platforms for these use cases, which reduces the value of the built-in Voice AI system.
Adding these capabilities would make GoHighLevel a much stronger all-in-one platform for AI-powered communication and automation.
Thank you for considering this request.
Best regards

Definitely agree with this and it needing prioritisation. The current AI Outbound Agent consent model limits the scope and take up of AI Agents. We are already experiencing a number of our clients who would sign up for Gohighlevel if the AI Outbound Agents could call leads automatically added via meta ad lead ad forms and other third party sources...there is no difference from a meta lead ad form to a website form in that sense, so technically it shouldn't be too difficult to open up consent to meta lead ads and other third party sources or do as the user above has suggested pass control back to the customer and allow consent/opt-in to be updated manually or via workflows or zaps or API etc. Lack of meta ads lead ad forms consent to trigger AI Outbound Calling agent is a deal breaker for three of our current clients not currently using Gohighlevel who would jump to Gohighlevel.

For me, this doesn’t really qualify as Outbound Voice AI.
To start with, it only works with U.S. phone numbers — meaning that any number from another country won’t produce results, since the call would be considered international.
I agree with all the points raised and believe there’s still a lot of room for improvement.
If things continue this way, the best option would be to move forward with an integration through VAPI, so that everything can be done properly.

I am trying trying to use Voice Ai Outbound Calls to notify my client when a new online booking has happened so that my client does not have to listen to a not so good computerized voice, which cannot be interacted with. Because of the "1 call per number per day" restriction I am not able to do this.
