Preheader preview and no odd line spacing for emails

Would love a little better email control. Having a preview pre-header part - the part that is the preview of the email. Active Campaign and most others allow you to customize the part that someone sees as a preview instead of just showing the first couple lines. Also, all the emails seem to be a line and a half height? Why can default not just be standard single line? (even here for the idea section, it's not single spacing.)

On a Related Note: The spacing in the email template is so buggy. I can set it and then click on the text box to edit it and the line height changes. It might be just a paragraph, or it could be the whole section that's affected. It happens really frequently - can we please fix this?
