Users with "Only Assigned Data" toggled on are currently unable to assign tasks to other users. This creates challenges for clients who have assistants, since those assistants can’t delegate tasks unless they’re able to see every contact in the CRM.
This appears to be a recent change, as the client requesting this had their assistant assigning tasks without issue up until about a month ago.
A possible solution would be to either:
1- Adjust the permission so that assistants with "Only Assigned Data" can still assign tasks to other users, or
2- Allow us to enable "Assigned Data" for Admins so it truly restricts them to only their assigned data.
To clarify point #2: I understand an Admin could toggle that setting back off, but that’s no different from how other permissions work today. For example, if I turn off specific permissions for an Admin, they remain disabled — even though, in theory, the Admin has the ability to reverse them. That consistency doesn’t currently exist with "Only Assigned Data", which is why this is becoming an issue.
