Task Dashboard

It would be great if there was a task dashboard, similar to a pipeline and how you create contacts, but for tasks. It would be even better if you could drag and drop those tasks onto a calendar. For example, being able to create "pipeline" categories of High, medium, low and backlog. Wherein one could place tasks and then drag and drop them into their calendar for scheduling those tasks. Ideally, the tasks would be entered by task name, with the client information and notes attached.

Simply save clicks by having it on the menu, rather than having to go contacts>tasks or Pipeline>tasks.

That's right, it would take the opportunity for those chosen to put them directly on their Google calendar. In addition, it is essential to be able to reorder them according to the various criteria, including the value of the opportunities available to you and the fundamental thing, to be able to move them and/or close/change assignee in a massive way

It would be very useful, as using it as a custom menu link is not perfect...

Where are the Tasks Metrics on the new Dashboard? Like number of overdue tasks, tasks per user, future tasks for due date (next 7 days for example), avg. time to complete taks, etc.

Having a view where we see the task due today
In this view we could have a quick access to overdue task and future task.
Nice to have : Possibility to have a label on task (Ex. : Urgent, Important, Secondary)

Having something similar to ClickUp or Monday.com for tasks and project management would be great.
Obviously not the full blown capabilities of the other platforms but, enough to where we don’t need to use multiple platforms.

It is possible to create a custom menu link inside of your agency level account for this. However, it doesn't load as fast as native menu items, and lives at the bottom of the left menu bar.

John Crozier Hey John, what link would you put as the custom menu link? Because simply putting the task's URL would open ghl inside ghl (the whole page)

Pedro Poleza in agency view go to settings>Custom Menu Link. You then use this link. https://app.gohighlevel.com/v2/location/{{location.id}}/tasks should work for all locations. You can put it on all your sub accounts. Or just a few. I don't think you can arrange it inside the menu to make it higher. Mine just shows up on the bottom.

John Crozier Have you done that before? Because when I did it, it was shoung the whole ghl's page inside the iframe, instead of only the "Tasks" page

Pedro Poleza when you create the menu link you need to select the option on the bottom that says "open in current window"

John Crozier I found this. I'm about to give it a try today with tasks as a menu link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4YRIbKDSes

And these tasks on the calendar shouldn't affect appointment availability. IE a lot of people use their calendar to remind them of things, so we dont want it blocking out potential appointment slots
