Allow the ability to set up sub tasks within an overall task. This would be helpful for when managing the team, and would eliminate the need for other project management software such as monday.com

Support rich text html in tasks.
Allows for use of Trigger Links within the task so we can track actions taken by the user assigned to the task.

Agree. We are using BasicOps at the moment...but just one more space. We can definitely even resell in the Saas model Project Management software for our clients.
Right now we struggle with using HL for Tasks for clients.
Website Build as a task has about 60 subtasks for us.
Setting up a social media campaign has about 25 subtasks
Setting up a Email campaign (Database reactivation) also has a group of tasks.
These groupings could be set up a templates within our team that we can duplicate when onboarding a new client.

Yes agree, we would love to replace Trello. But would need us to be able to add 'checklists' inside tasks.

Sarah Cordiner, absolutely, the ability to show progress toward completion.
Rich text in the task description (editable so we can add a :check before/after or strikethrough a bullet list item.
Even better would be the ability to display subtasks with open/underway/done/overdue as a Gantt chart in a Dashboard widget!
