Or even a "Team" designation for assignment with the possibility to assign different staff members to different teams so as new projects come up the "team" would be able to be transferred or be added to the new project.

Yes, standardized teams would be great as well, but multiple people is more important to me up front.
We need it to be able to have a trainer and trainee using their own logins, but working together on a client.

I was looking for a group conversation between 1 contact and multiple team members. Currently I can assign only 1 team member to 1 contact and they can communicate right? I want multiple team members to be able to communicate to 1 single contact. And I want to restrict those team members to that contact only. So essentially it’s multiple assignment functionality.
