In order combat duplicates, and help associate new company objects and contacts with existing ones, we need to have an auto complete for companies. This would work much like the address auto complete, but for companies in our own database. It could work in a way that as you type in more charters of a company name, the list of options decrease. If there are no matches, the suggestions would just stop as the first unique letter in the string is typed. In many cases companies or their employees shorten their actual company name, which in turn creates a duplicate record. Additionally, the future domain name inclusion could help this in companies, but there are many companies that are independent locations, but part of a franchise or multiple company entity, that all use the same website location. This auto suggestion for companies would help.
