Because Surveys doesn't let you add padding at the field level, I will often insert my desired field label into the "Field Description" section, and leave the field label blank. This adds a bit of space above the field input - be it the radio buttons, checkboxes, text field or whatever.

However, if the field is marked as "Required" this adds an asterisk where the native field label would otherwise go - the result looks awkward.

Ideally I'd like the ability to control padding at the field level - but also, having more control over where the "required" asterisk is displayed would be helpful.
