Trigger off Affiliate LEADS + Affiliate Data in Smart Lists

We can trigger off affiliate purchase but not leads (two step order form for example). I would like to simply tag the contact with the affiliate's name.
Also, being able to filter (SMART LIST) off any affiliate stuff would be nice and have some columns.

It would be great and a huge competitive advantage for HighLevel if affiliate referrers for a lead were stored in the lead's contact record.
Why?
Because someone could generate a lead who came across content on their mobile phone, but if the lead doesnt make a purchase until they get back to their computer, the credit for that affiliate wont be stored in a cookie on that computer.
It would be better to also save the affiliate in the contact record so when that lead does make a purchase with the same email etc that the affiliate stored in their contact for that campaign gets proper credit for that referral.

Ability to assign affiliate from the contact view regardless of payment or transaction. A way to keep track of who referred who and when.

Yes, a client of mine pay's affiliates for each LEAD generated and the client then has his team close a very personalized large sale. There needs to be a trigger "New Affiliate Lead" then "Notify Affiliate Lead Owner" or something like that.
That way when new leads are generated, we can decide what we want to communicate to the affiliate who referred the lead.

Agreed... this is a key feature to drive motivation with affiliates and to show recognition and appreciation for their efforts. I'd of thought this is a fairly simple automation trigger to make available to us.

The ability to Trigger off a New Lead when an Affiliate brings in a potential is a high value activity.
Reinforcing that they are doing a good job by simply bringing in new leads is a way to encourage them to continue promoting affiliate links - even if they are not yet making any affiliate sales.
