Trigger off Affiliate LEADS + Affiliate Data in Smart Lists

We can trigger off affiliate purchase but not leads (two step order form for example). I would like to simply tag the contact with the affiliate's name.
Also, being able to filter (SMART LIST) off any affiliate stuff would be nice and have some columns.

It would be awesome to have a field on the contact record that tells us the affiliate the contact was referred to us by, so we can easily see this on the contact record.

Within a contact record, it would be helpful to be able to see affiliate information, such as who their active affiliate is, what their affiliate click history is, etc.

Currently, I have managed a partial workaround for this to extract the Affiliate ID from the Attribution URL in a Workflow, and then add it to a custom field on the lead's contact record.
It's a start, but we really need this to be more fully implemented,
OR at the very least, we need a workflow actions to look up an affiliate based on their ID, so that we can trigger actions on the Affiliate when one of their lead becomes a contact or takes an action other than a sale.

It would be great and a huge competitive advantage for HighLevel if affiliate referrers for a lead were stored in the lead's contact record.
Why?
Because someone could generate a lead who came across content on their mobile phone, but if the lead doesnt make a purchase until they get back to their computer, the credit for that affiliate wont be stored in a cookie on that computer.
It would be better to also save the affiliate in the contact record so when that lead does make a purchase with the same email etc that the affiliate stored in their contact for that campaign gets proper credit for that referral.
