Proposed Solution:
Allow comment automations to trigger based on post categories and/or tags assigned in the Social Planner.
Implementation:
  • Assign categories/tags when creating posts in Social Planner
  • Set automation trigger: "When someone comments on posts with Category X or Tag Y"
  • Posts automatically included in automation when published
  • Works seamlessly with scheduled content
Benefits:
  • Eliminates manual post selection after publishing
  • Enables proper content scheduling with automation
  • Reduces risk of missed leads from early commenters
  • Streamlines workflow for agencies and high-volume users
Current Limitation:
The comment automation feature requires us to either select "all posts" (not practical) or manually add specific posts after they're published. This creates two problems:
  1. Scheduling Issue: Can't pre-schedule posts with automation enabled
  2. Timing Gap: Risk missing early commenters before manually adding the post to automation
Use Case Example:
Schedule 10 posts tagged #leadmagnet for the week. Automation automatically captures comments on all tagged posts from the moment they go live, without any manual intervention.
