Really infuriating that even when you have uploaded the images in media library, that they cant then be used in social planner for multiple reasons like size, shape etc etc. This needs to be quicker and automatic! Also, MOV type not supported is ridiculous, again, basic.

This is already released for everyone, automatically all the images will get resized to meet the resolutions. Adding the release note here - https://help.gohighlevel.com/support/solutions/articles/155000004531-how-to-auto-optimise-the-images-for-social-scheduling-

Try Handbrake software - it's is a robust
free
video conversion software. You can convert one at a time, or batch convert videos. MOV files are HUGE compared to MP4.R

Sherm Stevens the point is that this stuff should be effortless. If I upload an MOV file, just accept it and convert it to an MP4 file behind the scenes.

Ryan Jenkins It appears the issue is not with GHL, but with the target social channel (Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, etc).
I found a page that gives specs for supported file formats for social channels -- perhaps the OP's MOV file was outside the scope of the target social channel? Too large? Too long? Wrong dimensions?

Sherm Stevens still... don't make the user think about it.
If YouTube required an MOV file and Instagram required an MP4, then convert to whatever the destination uses.

Ryan Jenkins That would be ideal, but not sure they can stop adding features long enough to make a common sense change like this.
I'm still mad they stopped X posts. For a measly $44k.
