Jenna Leadingham: You could combine them, but that is making a whole new snapshot. From an updates perspective, it requires more work as you add/change/upgrade because you are adding another snapshot into the mix.

With 3 different SaaS plans right now, it could mean an additional 3 snapshots to deal with. As we get the ability to add more SaaS plans to an account, it would, at some point, become cumbersome. It is already difficult when you have many sub-accounts from a simple sorting in the agency dashboard. Adding an array of snapshots that are simply combinations of other snapshots increases the chance of error exponentially.

By having the ability to add more than one snapshot to an account in the SaaS configurator, it also gives us the option to have limited-time offers.

For example, as part of a holiday sale, I want to add a reputation management snapshot that we normally sell for $250 extra, I could add that to the SaaS configurator for the duration of the sale and remove it afterward. This gives the ability to be a lot more flexible.

Adam at Lead Momentum: Yes! A little pull-down menu after they buy a package that asks them to pick their business type, and then you have a mapping on the back-end to the snapshot. This would be perfect for the local hero business model.
