Description
In GoHighLevel Smart Lists for contacts, there is currently no option to dynamically filter by “Assigned To = Current User.” This limits the ability to create reusable, team-wide Smart Lists that automatically adapt to the logged-in user.
Problem:
  • The Assigned To filter only allows selecting a specific user
  • There is no dynamic option like Current User / Logged-in User
As a result, Smart Lists must be duplicated per team member or manually maintained
Expected Behavior:
Smart Lists should support a dynamic filter option:
  • Assigned To = Current User
This would allow one shared Smart List to automatically show only the contacts assigned to the logged-in team member.
Actual Behavior:
  • Smart Lists can only be filtered by explicitly selected users
  • No user-context-aware filtering is available
  • Team-wide default Smart Lists are not possible without duplication
Impact / Use Case:
For sales and support teams, this feature would enable:
  • Default Smart Lists for the entire team
  • Automatic, user-specific contact views
  • Less admin overhead (no duplicated lists per user)
  • Cleaner, more scalable CRM setups
Proposed Solution:
  • Add “Current User” as a selectable option in the Assigned To filter for Smart Lists
  • Resolve the filter dynamically based on the logged-in user
  • Apply the same concept consistently across other user-based filters (where applicable)
