Save Smart List (Contacts) Columns

When I add columns to smartlists/columns, for example, opportunity and source, there is no way to save those columns. When you go back you have to add them again. There are certain columns I use all the time (other people too I'm sure). It would be great if there was a way to save them.

This can be done by creating a new Smart List, adding filters, and selecting your columns you want displayed. The only list it cannot be done to that I have found is the All, which should allow the ability to add columns and save them.
When you create a new Smart List and set the filters for something like Type is a Lead, you can then just add columns to the view and save as a new Smart List and it will show you a full list of all of your leads with all columns you checked in the view.
You still cannot reorder the columns.
All that said it would be helpful to be able to add columns to the All view.

Hey guys, I used to be able to do this by saving the list using "smart filters" - First name "is not empty"

Given the complexity and lack of customization for the UI, this should be a quick and easy to justify ability! The users need to be able to see the information that is most important to them at a glance.
