Please add support for recurring iDEAL payments within GHL.
iDEAL is the most widely used payment method in the Netherlands and Belgium. Without recurring iDEAL support, many businesses in these regions are unable to fully adopt GHL.
Supporting recurring iDEAL payments would significantly increase adoption and make GHL much more attractive for the Dutch and Belgian markets.

Very necessary! This would save so many webhooks and extra work!!!

This is the first payment for the subscription, you want to collect it immediately and that is only possible via iDeal. Then (behind the scenes at Stripe), the direct debit via the SEPA payment method takes over. A subscription only via SEPA is technically possible but is quite unusable for memberships and the like, because the payment collection only comes to the customer after about 4 days and the signal that payment has actually been paid only comes from Stripe to GHL after about 10 days. So we would like a combination of subscriptions via iDEAL and SEPA so that the first payment is collected immediately.
English: It concerns the first payment of the subscription. You want to collect that immediately, which is only possible via iDEAL. After that, Stripe automatically takes over in the background and processes recurring payments via the SEPA Direct Debit payment method.
A subscription using only SEPA is technically already possible in GHL, but it's not very practical for memberships and similar use cases. The direct debit isn't presented to the customer until about 4 days later, and the confirmation that the payment was actually successful isn't sent from Stripe to GoHighLevel until roughly 10 days later.
That's why we'd like to support a combination of iDEAL and SEPA for subscriptions: collect the first payment instantly via iDEAL, and then automatically use SEPA Direct Debit for all recurring subscription payments.

Should have been arranged by now. This is possible in Stripe, GHL is the limitation.

Is this not possible? I am struggling with this as well. I thought this would be possible because also SEPA direct debit is activated.

Linda Dronkers no that sucks idd. We're now doing it via Stripe for recurring payments. How do you solve it now?

Linda Dronkers
El Potato yes, so do we. But not ideal. Any idea how high this is on the development list at GHL?

Linda Dronkers No, I don't think it's very high yet. 😂 But are you in the facebook group? I'm thinking of sharing this vote there too, so that hopefully more people will vote.
