I just got off of a call with tech and confirmed, I cannot simply select a group of contacts and easily create those as a new Smart List. It's a work of Congress (and then some) to take existing contacts and create a new Smart List out of them. Essentially, I have to export them, then reload them and create a Smart List name for them. WAY TOO MUCH WORK for something so simple.
