Problem
Smart Lists are a core organizational and automation tool in GoHighLevel, but managing them at scale is currently very time-consuming and manual.
When working with dozens or hundreds of Smart Lists (across cities, industries, teams, or use cases), users must:
Edit Smart Lists one by one
Share/unshare individually
Duplicate lists individually
Manually assign tags or naming changes to each list
This becomes a major bottleneck for agencies, call centers, and high-volume operations.
Requested Enhancements
  1. Bulk Create Smart Lists
Ability to create multiple Smart Lists at once using:
A template
CSV input
Or duplication with variable fields (e.g. City, Industry)
Example:
Create 50 Smart Lists for Atlanta – [Industry] in one action.
  1. Bulk Edit Smart Lists
Ability to select multiple Smart Lists and apply changes such as:
Rename (prefix/suffix)
Modify filters
Change folder
Enable/disable sharing
  1. Bulk Share / Unshare Smart Lists
Ability to:
Select multiple Smart Lists
Share or unshare them with users, teams, or sub-accounts in one action
This is especially critical for:
Call center rollouts
Temporary access for VAs
Regional or campaign-based permissions
  1. Easy Smart List Duplication (Mass Duplicate)
Ability to:
Duplicate multiple Smart Lists at once
Optionally auto-rename with patterns (e.g. “Copy – City Name”)
This would drastically speed up market expansion and onboarding.
  1. Mass Assign Tags to Selected Smart Lists
Ability to:
Select multiple Smart Lists
Assign or remove one or more tags in bulk
This would enable:
Faster organization
Easier filtering
Better long-term Smart List management
Why This Matters
Agencies often manage 100–1,000+ Smart Lists
Manual list management does not scale
Bulk operations are standard in CRMs at this level
This feature would significantly improve:
Speed
Usability
Enterprise readiness
Ideal UX (High-Level)
Checkbox selection on Smart List page
“Bulk Actions” dropdown:
Edit
Duplicate
Share / Unshare
Assign Tags
Move to Folder
Impact
This would save hours per week per account, reduce user frustration, and make GoHighLevel far more efficient for large teams and agencies.
