We have a very stripped down use for GHL for just contacts and calendars for a couple clients. We do not want to give them access to things they don't need to make use of the app easier.

One function that doesn't appear to work is sending test emails for calendar notifications, like confirmations, reminders, etc. unless we turn on the user's role access to include Automations. Is there a way to allow test emails w/o turning on Automations for a subaccount user?

By turning it on, they can then see Automations in the left nav bar, and they can see all the things about AI, Email Campaigns, and all kinds of other things we turned off.

I think this is a bug. A user should be able to use a function shown on screen without needing role access to a different module.
