I need a calendar system designed for businesses that operate regular recurring rounds, like window cleaning, gardening, domestic cleaning, etc.
Here is exactly what I mean:
Client Grouping by Route or Round
I need to group clients into "rounds" or "routes" so I can assign a whole group to a specific day (like a Monday route in Ullapool).
Recurring Frequency per Client
Each customer should be set to repeat on a custom cycle like every 4 weeks, 8 weeks, or other fixed intervals. I need this to repeat the route, not just a single appointment.
Batch Rescheduling
If I move a round due to weather or staff absence, I want to drag the whole group of appointments to a new date. I should not have to move every booking individually.
Automatic Reminders
Each customer in the round should automatically get a text or email the day before their service. Currently I have to do this manually in GHL unless the customer has an appointment in the booking calendar, which does not work well for rounds.
Route View on a Map
Ideally, I want to view the round on a map to optimise routes, similar to how Squeegee and Jobber allow you to see clustered customers on a map.
Simple Staff Assignment
I need to assign a team member to a round and have their calendar update automatically with that round's customers.
No Manual Booking Per Job
In round work, we do not manually book each job. The calendar creates the schedule automatically based on the round frequency. Your current system feels more like a one-time booking platform.
This kind of calendar setup is standard in our industry. Platforms like Squeegee, Jobber, and Launch27 already offer this. If GHL is going to work for service businesses like mine, we need this kind of functionality.
