🚨 Service calendar bookings should be readable at a glance

Idea: Customisable booking tiles inside the service calendar
Many service businesses already operate with a mental model of what a calendar should show at a glance.
Right now in HL, bookings are colour-coded and clean, but typically only display:
• the contact name
Once the calendar gets busy, that means clicking into appointments just to understand:
• what service is booked
• which room or resource is required
Context:
I’ve attached an example of what many users have become accustomed to “fresha style” calendars, where the booking tile clearly shows the service and room alongside the client name.
Not because Fresha is better, but because this layout has trained expectations across salons, clinics and service teams.
The idea:
Allow service calendar booking tiles to display configurable fields directly on the tile.
Similar to opportunity cards, users could choose what appears, such as:
• client name
• service name(s)
• room or chair
• staff member
• custom fields or short notes
This wouldn’t replace HL’s system.
It simply unlocks more flexibility using data that already exists.
Same calendar.
Same backend.
Just clearer visibility for teams managing high-volume bookings.
If a schedule can be understood in five seconds,
it stops being a calendar and starts being an operations dashboard.
