In the current GoHighLevel calendar, staff availability can only be set to apply immediately. However, in real-life operations, working hours often change on a specific future date – for example due to new contracts, seasonal shifts, or temporary replacements.
Example:
An employee is currently available on Mondays and Fridays. Starting on a future date, she will also be available on Thursdays.
Right now, this new Thursday availability can only be activated immediately, not scheduled in advance.
This means clients can already book Thursday appointments before the employee is actually available on that day – leading to confusion and manual corrections.
Suggested Solution:
Please add the ability to define availability with a start and optional end date. Example:
Availability 1: Monday & Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM → valid until [date]
Availability 2: Thursday, 9 AM – 3 PM → valid from [date]
Why this matters:
This feature would make scheduling much more accurate – especially for teams with dynamic shifts or long-term planning needs. It prevents incorrect bookings and reduces manual calendar management.
