Swadha Bhoj, thank you for working so very hard to get this done for us!
And thanks also for the help document link.

Swadha Bhoj while this is an improvement it doesn’t address much of the issues we are facing. I’ll use my example to illustrate.
When I bring on a new personal training client, they will train 3, 4 or 5 times per week.
I show them my availability and they choose the times most suitable to them.
At the moment I need to write down their times and days and book them in individually later.
I’m hoping to be able to see all my week’s availability on one screen
Allow the client to select 3, 4 or 5 slots before needing to confirm then behind the scenes I can choose the custom reoccurring pattern. Such as to the end of the current month 3, 6, 12 months or indefinitely.
This functionality will be so useful for so many service based business dog walkers physios, basicallly any appointment based multi visits per week service.

Swadha Bhoj Why isnt this available on classes? Surely classes should have recurring options too?
J
Josh Boutelle
Swadha Bhoj This is what we need for classes calendars - staff selects a start date with X additional dates. Recurring calendar with a custom start date

For any of you looking for the workaround, here is the play. Setup a recurring calendar for 24 weeks (maximum). Then, setup a workflow with the trigger being the appointment. Include your normal reminder sequences. Add a wait for event at the tome of the event. Then, at the end, setup an "if/else" condition. You can use multiple variations but I like Appointment> start Date > is > in the next > [insert however long the frequency SHOULD be]
If the condition is met (meaning the appointment is scheduled) then use "go-to" to loop back to the first action.
If the condition isn't met, send a trigger link to your calendar with a note of the clients name and rebook them for the next 24 weeks.
Hope this helps.

Having reoccurring appointments ongoing with no end date is the LIFEBLOOD for us. Is there a work around to do this right now?
J
Jodi Clarke
Briana Christianlooks like no- one answers in here. this is a massive issue for me too.. i wonder if we make all the appointments in gmail and sync the calanders.. if that works?
B
Briana Christian
Jodi Clarke we're currently playing around with that. Are you in the Facebook groups?
J
Jodi Clarke
Briana Christian I think I’m in a Facebook group??
I made a calander under my name in ghl then synced with my google calendar and it appears on my ghl calendar just fine.
it doesn’t land in the client file tho. I guess that’s a workflow or zap?

This is vital for customers that use recurring bookings. I am trying to onboard a customer who is a therapist and this is a big issue which might cause me to loose the client. Please release it soon! Thanks!

Shaun Clark When this is implemented please include the other half of this which is delete function like google calendars. And I know this is a separate matter but colours also need to be addressed as this is not manageable (attached image). Calendar functionality like Google or iCal would be fantastic.

As a consultant/mentor/coach selling recurring sessions, I need the ability to build a booking calendar for a user (customer) to self select the day of the week they prefer and automatically create a recurring appointment at the selected intervals.

Swadha Bhoj on March 5 in this same thread Abhishek Chauhan said it would be released in Q2, scroll down to see this. We're obviously 3 weeks past this and it's still not out? More worrying though is that I was sold on GHL well over two years ago on the asurrance that this and other basic recurring calendar fucntions would be released back then. This has also been said in the GHL Facebook thread with Shaun Clark also sayigng ages ago it was about to come out. There's now been two years of broken assurances. What will this actually come out??? Can we get an actual definte date that is stuck to for once???
S
Shaun Clark
Scott Hunt I believe the last communication here was we can’t give you a firm date and that stands. I will ask the team as this is marked as planned so I need to see what their plans are here.
S
Scott Hunt
Shaun Clark Yes correct in our last communication you said no firm date, I don't have an issue with that and appreciate the honesty even if not the answer I wanted.
What I have an issue with is the two years prior to that where I've been told it will defininitely come out at the end of the quarter, and then it doesn't. The GHL sales guy even sold me on that promise, I literally would have held off buying GHL it if that didn't happen. It's cost me a fortune as a result, not to mention the loss of trust with our franchisees as I told them what GHL told me.
I've had plenty of empty sorrys from GHL, but all I'm after is it working the way I was sold on. Now that we're a month on from your reply can you please tell me what they said re their plans?
S
Scott Hunt
Shaun Clark Can I please get an answer to this? Please appreaicate that as a paying customer I've spent a lot of money on GHL over the years so still not receive a key feature I was repeatedly sold on! And now whenever I push for an answer that a paying customer should understandably be able to get, I get ignored. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable, feel free to correct me if you disagree. Otherwise I look forward to an answer asap.
S
Shaun Clark
Scott Hunt Not trying to ignore you the answer is there is no timeline, we don't know and if this is a deal killer for you might have to find another platform, I don't and can't make a firm commitment on timeline.
S
Scott Hunt
Shaun Clark Thanks for the reply and honest answer, I have no issue with that and this whole thing never would have been an issue if that's what everyone else at GHL had said, but they didn't.
There has been multiple assurances of release dates by GHL staff (most recently Abhishek Chauhan saying in this thread on March 5 that it would be released in Q2), and most importantly the sales pitch and guarantee of release that got me signed up, as opposed to waiting for it to be released.
That's cost me tens of thousands of dollars and I've gotten nothing more than a "oops, sorry we screwed up" and two months free from GHL, which clearly is a pretty crappy sorry to expect me to wear 99% of GHL's error / misinformation.
Again I thank you for an honest answer each time Shaun, and every other area of GHL has been amazing, so no it's not a deal breaker (plus I've invested too much in it to turn back now), I hope you can see this as constructive criticism, and of course hopefully have GHL wear a fair amount of the cost that I've had to due to GHL's issues.
S
Shaun Clark
Scott Hunt Absolutely this specific issue has been the reason we no longer give out dates like we used because we never want to over promise and under deliver. We also now have a firm road map and it's presented and if it's not in there we never promise it's coming until it does.

I'm a personal trainer, and my clients typically schedule their personal training sessions on a recurring weekly basis. I am seeking a feature enhancement to our scheduling system to reflect this.
Currently, when a client chooses their preferred time slots for their sessions, they are taken to a confirmation page immediately after selecting a single slot. This does not accommodate our booking structure where clients train multiple times per week at preset times.
What I need is a modified booking flow that aligns with our session packages. For example, if a client opts for a 3-session per week package, they should be able to:
View a week's availability.
Select any 3 available slots within that week.
Only be directed to a confirmation page after all 3 sessions are selected.
These selected slots should then be locked in and recur every week for that client.
The aim is to streamline the booking experience for both clients and the coaching team, ensuring a hassle-free and efficient scheduling process.
Thank you for considering this request.
Best regards,
Michael

Mike Brown I own a large PT company so I hear you! As do so many other industries who need this basic yet missing recurring meeting feaures. Theere's been pover two year of broken promises around this so whilst I'm confident it'll come out as there's bit shortages of amazing releases, who knows what day (or year) it'll be. Just keep hassling them as I can only assume the more customers that onto them the better!

In a round robin calendar, you cannot have more than one team member available for a recurring appointment. In this situation, I want to be able to select the team member for the recurring appointment. So that means I have to have yet another 2 calendars for the second team member and also add all that to the workflow/conditions...
