As a consultant/mentor/coach selling recurring sessions, I need the ability to build a booking calendar for a user (customer) to self select the day of the week they prefer and automatically create a recurring appointment at the selected intervals.

Swadha Bhoj on March 5 in this same thread Abhishek Chauhan said it would be released in Q2, scroll down to see this. We're obviously 3 weeks past this and it's still not out? More worrying though is that I was sold on GHL well over two years ago on the asurrance that this and other basic recurring calendar fucntions would be released back then. This has also been said in the GHL Facebook thread with Shaun Clark also sayigng ages ago it was about to come out. There's now been two years of broken assurances. What will this actually come out??? Can we get an actual definte date that is stuck to for once???

Scott Hunt I believe the last communication here was we can’t give you a firm date and that stands. I will ask the team as this is marked as planned so I need to see what their plans are here.

I'm a personal trainer, and my clients typically schedule their personal training sessions on a recurring weekly basis. I am seeking a feature enhancement to our scheduling system to reflect this.
Currently, when a client chooses their preferred time slots for their sessions, they are taken to a confirmation page immediately after selecting a single slot. This does not accommodate our booking structure where clients train multiple times per week at preset times.
What I need is a modified booking flow that aligns with our session packages. For example, if a client opts for a 3-session per week package, they should be able to:
View a week's availability.
Select any 3 available slots within that week.
Only be directed to a confirmation page after all 3 sessions are selected.
These selected slots should then be locked in and recur every week for that client.
The aim is to streamline the booking experience for both clients and the coaching team, ensuring a hassle-free and efficient scheduling process.
Thank you for considering this request.
Best regards,
Michael

Jakin Harper feel free mate, it is a much needed feature I think the more people on it the better chances we have getting it going. This thread has been under review for some time

Mike Brown I own a large PT company so I hear you! As do so many other industries who need this basic yet missing recurring meeting feaures. Theere's been pover two year of broken promises around this so whilst I'm confident it'll come out as there's bit shortages of amazing releases, who knows what day (or year) it'll be. Just keep hassling them as I can only assume the more customers that onto them the better!

In a round robin calendar, you cannot have more than one team member available for a recurring appointment. In this situation, I want to be able to select the team member for the recurring appointment. So that means I have to have yet another 2 calendars for the second team member and also add all that to the workflow/conditions...

PLEASE add the ability for recurring WITH a custom start date -- this is vital for classes. For example - a dog trainer has a 5 week class starting on a specific date. We currently have to make a massive annoying workflow to make this happen

I’ve been struggling for weeks with recurring appointments for music lessons.
- Cannot get appts that are already in the calendars to enter the confirmation and reminder workflow (support has been no help)
- Can only recur for 24 weeks
- Sends 24 of the same confirmation email. All at once. One for each of the 24 weeks. Why???
- Calendar shows both the HL appointment and the Google one for the same appointment but grayed out.
- If you cancel out in HL it doesn’t cancel the Google calendar so have to manually cancel EACH occurrence out of Google. Which sends a cancellation notice to the contact.
Anybody know how to work with recurring appointments?

The team is working on it, however this is a heavy lift which involves changing a lot of core functionalities. This would be pushed to Q2 for now.

Abhishek Chauhan - This is wonderful & thanks to the team for fixing the problem with recurring appointments over a time change, which was broken for more than a year and a half ... and has worked perfectly during this upcoming time change. Wonderful Job!!!!!

Abhishek Chauhan Shaun Clark Is this acutally happening in Q2??? As you know this and other relating recurring features have now been promised for over 2 years!!!! As you know my requests for GHL to simply do what they said they'd do for paying customers gets ignored now, so I presume this one will too. But I hope you and others reading it take it on board. To be clear, I love everything about GHL except this ongoing problem, so credit where credit is due on an otherowise amazing platform. But when it comes to this GHLs inaction and missed release dates regarding recurring appointments GHL has cost me a fortune!

Abhishek Chauhan Shaun Clark Can I please get an answer to this? Been waiting two years for this and now everyone at GHL is ignoring myself and anyone else who asks? We're all paying customes who just want some basic customer support on this and plans to be stuck to by GHL! I think that's fair, so can we please get an answer: Is this actually happening in Q2???

In addition to being able to book as many recurring appointments as needed, it would also be great to have the ability to set parameters on how frequently existing customers can book appointments. For example, say a Chiropractor sells a monthly recurring membership that includes 1 visit per week. The patient could initially be set up with a recurring appointment for the same day/time each week. To allow patients to manage their appointments, we'd want to share a booking link with all patients, but in order to do so the calendar settings should be able to prevent any given user from having more than 1 appointment scheduled in a week.
Without this, patients would be able to book multiple appointments on the calendar, and even if they only show up to 1 of them, they are taking up other slots on the calendar and preventing other patients from booking those. If the system recognized the patient already had an appointment that week it would be ideal to allow them to edit / reschedule the existing appointment and prevent booking further appointments that week. This calendar function would apply to any type of membership that is not "unlimited."

For membership or subscription based service businesses with recurring appointments, it is key to be able to block off more than 24 weeks in advance. We'd like to be able to block off 100 weeks, and then if that client cancels, be able to easily delete all of their future appointments, or be able to automate this through a workflow if a cancellation form is submitted.

Greg Preston THIS! It is nice to be able to schedule the appointments... but deleting them is a DISASTER!
