Exporting a Smart List directly from the Appointments tab

Enable the ability to export filtered Smart Lists from the Appointments tab, allowing users to refine their view and export customized appointment data as needed.

This is a glaring omission. I can create the report I want for further analysis of my appointment data in excel, but unlike in Contacts or Opportunities, there is no export available.
