I completely agree, I have many customers that need this type of event calendar for their meetings: display just the day/time and place of the event.
(not the calendar view with all the days of the month)
And also (very important) ONLY CREATE 1 EVENT SLOT in the calendar for all attendees/contacts registered), like the Class booking calendar. Currently the generic Event type calendar creates multiple separate events for each participants.

Leaving this comment here for the devs, we offer a ton of events and I think what people are asking for might actually be a product that displays on a calendar. I see a lot of "like eventbrite" and we've been using the products in GHL for event ticketing for a while - minor tweaks to the product would achieve this.

It would be amazing to have ticketing available within calendars. So, customers will be able to buy multiple tickets, and receive a QR code for each ticket. This would be helpful for paid event, and charity/auction events. This would allow people to replace their Eventbrite.com calendars.

This would change everything.  Imagine how many businesses we could effectively pursue with this ticketing system as the hook?  As of now i am using a 3rd party QR code creator in combinations with GHL forms.  It works but its not very effective.  
And whenever a customer purchases the ticket from my client their information is impossible to track without manually going into our transactions page.
I did try to connect a trigger link with the help of technical support to export every ticket purchase to an GOOGLE SHEET... but it very rarely works. The whole thing just doesnt really work. Its mostly for "SHOW"
Live Event Businesses would jump in our laps if we had a full ticket system...
If they an awesome ticketing system the whole aesthetic of brand whole be lifted. We would be offering them so much value. And imagine the workflows that could be added to those who buy tickets.... Hands down a genius chess move for GHL to offer this if you ask me
